Welcome to Vellicor. By using the Vellicor mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must create an account to use Vellicor. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Vellicor. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
You retain ownership of content you create on Vellicor, including book rankings, reviews, notes, and messages. By posting content, you grant Vellicor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content as necessary to provide the service.

Book information (titles, authors, covers, descriptions) is sourced from third-party APIs including Google Books and Open Library. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of this data.
Vellicor contains affiliate links to bookstores (Bookshop.org, Apple Books, Amazon). When you purchase books through these links, Vellicor may earn a commission. This does not affect the price you pay. We are not responsible for purchases made through these links — they are governed by the respective store's terms.
Vellicor offers an optional premium subscription with additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's subscription terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
Subscription pricing may change. We will notify you before any price increase takes effect.
Vellicor provides messaging, book clubs, and social features. You agree to use these features responsibly. We reserve the right to moderate content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
Vellicor is not responsible for the content of messages between users. Use caution when sharing personal information with other users.
Vellicor facilitates tracking book lending between users. Vellicor is not responsible for lost, damaged, or unreturned books. Lending arrangements are between the users involved.
The Vellicor name, logo, design, and code are owned by Vellicor. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our app without permission.

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Vellicor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your use of the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vellicor's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Vellicor in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold Vellicor harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York, NY, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or class action.
